Artist Statement

Exploring the conceptual boundary between painting and digital art, she utilizes digital tools to create a new world in painting. She hopes to leave behind the warmth of art in a world that is developing day by day, as if that work of art saved her and helped her overcome the obstacles. Concretely, she strives to create works that challenge our digital perceptions of reality. It is an iconic art form that one initially enjoys in its entirety and just likes the picture, but over time one can read the meaning into it. Within it, she continues to pursue the possibilities of art by creating pieces that comprise a heavyweight element that overturns and questions the world around us, raising awareness of problem definition and social justice, and serving as a tool to inspire action.

絵画とデジタルアートの間の概念的な境界を探り、デジタルツールを活用して、絵画に新しい世界を制作している。「あの作品があったから救われた。乗り越えられてきた。」など芸術の温かさを、日々発展していく世界に残したいと思う。具体的には、現実に対するデジタルな認識に挑戦する作品を制作を心がけている。それは、最初は全体を楽しみ、ただ絵が好きになるというアイコニックなアートだが、 長い時間をかけて意味を読み取ることができるものである。その中に問題定義や社会的正義の認識を高め、行動を喚起するツールとしての役割にもなるという、私たちを取り巻く世界を覆し、問いかけるような重義的な要素を構成したものが作り、アートの可能性を追求し続けている。
